The difference a day makes

I am staying at LaWonna's house tonight with her kids while she went in to stay with dad overnight. Mom was sent home to sleep in her own bed for the night. This picture was sent to me from a friend who was in to visit dad earlier in the evening (thanks, Bethany!). This is his first real dinner in 10 days.

Love you so much dad!

  3. Greetings from the Beiler/Stoltzfus side of the family! (cousins Anna, Lydia, Malinda & Gid, Vernon & Barbie, Reuben & Katie)-I am their back yard neighbor,Doreen Scott and am helping them with computer messages as well as rides. Their thoughts and prayers are with you,Jonas! Anna wanted to tell you of her diagnosis of Celiac Disease as it is a confirmed genetic disorder which can lead to GI cancer (which seems to be prevalent in the family that is what Betty died from, and also what Reuben and Vernon are being treated for) She will be glad to share any info with you. Jonas, I have had three GI surgeries two of which were emergency and very complicated similar to yours. I am a RN and would be glad to help you at home if you need any care. I have been praying for you because I really could empathize with your experiences with tubes, tubes and more tubes. Hopefully you will soon be home in your own bed!
