Your ride is here!

Dad is going home today! He is leaving with the PICC line in place and will be required to continue some of the IV antibiotics. I will post again as his recovery continues.

Thank you all for your support through prayer, cards, calls, visits, and comments. This has been quite the ordeal for dad (and mom) and he (they)would not have fared as well without all of you.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

  2. That is great news. I hope you will both (Jonas & Anne) just kick back and look out at the beautiful snow fall as you rest in the comfort of your home. There is no place like home. Rest well my friends.

  3. Yeah! We are rejoicing with you! Jonas, I'm sure that your bed will never have felt as glorious as it does tonight! May the Lord continue to bless you during your complete healing process. Auntie Anne, LaWonna & LaVale - you ladies should be experts on how to care for Jonas, with all of the time you spent by his bedside in the hospital observing the docs & nurses! Remember to take care of yourselves and get caught up on all of the sleep you've missed! Best wishes to you all!

  7. Yes, yes and YES!!!!!!!!! Much Love to ALL of ya'll. Praise God and I Love the Ride. The last time I rode, one of the gals, Brenda, had a flat. Fi & I just had to Laugh! May Uncle Jonas not have any FLATS during his recovery ride. He's already been through enough. LaWonna, I'm gonna give you a call after lunch, (Texas time). LaVale, you've done a wonderful job of keeping everyone informed. Auntie Anne, Love ya Much. Before long you'll have Uncle Jonas out and about in the convertible. I wonder, did you stop at the Gap Diner before you made it home? Ya be good now, ya here!
